I went to Ashmead College in Tacoma, WA. for massage therapy and spa specialist training in 2005, where I graduated with nearly 1000 hours of training. I have also obtained hundreds of hours in continuing education in many different modalities. The list includes:
Swedish, Deep tissue - Trigger point therapy, Prenatal, Aromatherapy (the use of Essential Oils to heal the body naturally), Hot Stone therapy, Headache and TMJD Treatment, Reflexology, Assisted body stretch and sports massage, Myo-fascial release, Manual Lymphatic Drainage and finally Cranial-Sacral therapy just to name a few.
I am also a Certified Medical massage practitioner, which means that I have training in treatment work to help facilitate healing in the body. I have spent about eight years out of fifteen working with chiropractors, dealing with car accident injuries and other work related injuries.
My approach to massage therapy is treating clients from head to toe.
